Club nights on Friday 3
About this list
Friday is the club night of three Viennese clubs, all of them away from the city centre. Schachclub Donaustadt meets at the sports ground of TV Kagran, with a children's training at the same hour as the adults' evening; the club also holds a youth open every spring. In Liesing, Schachklub Auhof plays in the restaurant Zu den 3 Linden and says that guests interested in chess are welcome; its page publishes a membership fee per season.
In Favoriten the Kultur- und Sportverein Arberia holds its evening at the association Illiria in Bürgergasse. All three clubs also field teams in the Viennese club championship: Arberia in the B-Liga, Auhof in two lower classes and Donaustadt in seven.
